GAME NIGHT coordinator
The Lakers are seeking Game Night Coordinators to help run home games in Kelowna during the 2021/22 season.
The ideal candidate is energetic, organized and has great communication skills. Past experience with event management is ideal but not required. Depending on past experience, responsibilities may include event planning, ticket & merch sales, 50/50 and fan contests. Entertaining games are critical to the success of the team, and the Lakers are looking to create a unique, fun and family-friendly experience. Compensation is based on experience and paid on a per-game basis.
The Lakers are seeking experienced off-ice officials for home games in Kelowna for the 2021/22 season.
The ideal candidate has experience as an off-ice official in competitive hockey. Responsibilities may include goal judging, scorekeeping and timekeeping. Compensation is based on experience and paid on a per-game basis.
The Lakers are seeking an experienced equipment manager to work with the team and help facilitate equipment needs.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable in a fast-paced team environment and can think on their feet. Some prior experience as an equipment manager is important to this position. The Lakers will play their inaugural season this year, so this individual will help establish equipment needs and processes that contribute to the team's success for years to come. You will be an integral part of the team, and should be available for at least 1 morning practice per week, as well as all games during the season.
This is a paid contract position, the hourly rate is based on experience.
The Lakers are seeking a DJ for the 2021/22 BCIHL season. Lakers home games are at CNC Arena, and the DJ is critical to creating an exciting atmosphere for our fans! We're looking for someone who loves live sporting events, can bring excitement and energy to the building, and has some experience DJing hockey games.
